Liked: Breakfast is very good, I love the coffee machine in the breakfast area. Plenty of choice, everthing fresh.
Disliked: I did not like being asked to to give my email address, so that I could check-in before 3pm, when the hotel would already have all my details. So I sat in reception until 3pm, which was only a relatively short time, also I was frazzled by that time having gone from Liverpool and via Manchester (due to rail problems) to Brighton. There were two other lots of people also sitting waiting until the dot of 3 to check-in.

Liked: Lovely, helpful staff, welcomed us in and spent the time to explain the hotel/amenities. The location is excellent. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: The location of the swimming pool. In the hotel information, before booking, it seemed the swimming pool was in the hotel. We took our swimming togs but were disappointed to find the pool is quite a substantial walk from the hotel. It s a local pool ( not a problem) and not a dedicated hotel pool. If we had realised this, we wouldn't have booked this hotel, but that would have been a mistake since the positives of staying in this hotel outweighed the one negative of not having a pool. However, for those prepared to walk, there is a discount for hotel guests.
