Liked: The toilet flush had fallen off before we’d even checked in, there’s no plugs by the bed, 3 of the lights didn’t work. If I could get some money back I would.

Mixed bag

Liked: The hotel is in a great location, myself and my mum had gone to Brighton to watch a show. We had stayed at this particular hotel before for £79 and we had such a great experience we decided to book here again. This time the hotel was £118 so quite a hike in price. The hotel was really busy and the staff were run off their feet, the ladies on reception allowed us in our room slightly early as there was nowhere to leave our case when we arrived. We got to our room and it was nice and spacious. We had a kettle and some tea and coffee. We had to ask for another pillow and some more milk but everything ran smoothly. We noticed a little red stain on the bed but didn't mention anything to the staff as they were so busy. As we were running a bit behind schedule we decided to eat dinner in the hotel. The food was awful and we wished we had gone anywhere else! My mum had the spicy vegetable noodles and I had the chicken burger, my mum noodles were a solid lump, with not a lot of vegetables and was so spicy she could eat it and my chips were solid. We only ate it because we needed to get to our event.I'm pleased we did not book the hotel breakfast.

Disliked: there should be at least one electric outlet close to the bed, and it would have been nice if breakfast lasted a bit longer, just half an hour would be nice
