Not worth the money

Liked: Good location. Nice reception and bar area Nice new carpet in the hallway to the room
Disliked: The bedroom we were allocated wasn’t great. A horrible brown carpet with a purple stain on it, a really hard thin mattress with a topper on it. The walls looked like some form of liquid had been thrown on them and left to dry. And the furniture was very basic and a mismatch of colours. The bathroom was a plastic pod with a metal door, and was very small, no fan to expel any condensation from the shower. No plug sockets near the bed which wasn’t great because my husband has a Cpap machine.No breakfast included in the room rate. I stay in a lot of hotels and this hotel certainly wasn’t worth the £100 per night that I paid for it. Very disappointed indeed.

Disliked: Plastic shower room- mould on wall in corner of room- bed uncomfortable (personal preference)

Bedroom was freezing cold.

Liked: Have stayed here many times but this time my room was freezing cold and the Aircon/heating unit was less than useless. I was so cold that I hardly slept and when I did get to sleep I was woken up by a loud humming sound which I think was from some sort of pipes along the roof right outside my room. I made some makeshift earplugs but they didn't help much. Terrible room, never want to stay in that one again.

Comfortable stay for the price

Liked: Very reasonably priced room. Good access to public transport into London and from M25. Bathroom/shower facilities very good. Easy parking. Pleasant staff on reception.
Disliked: Breakfast wasn't really worth £12pp. Tinned fruit and limited, old looking fresh fruit, and scrambled eggs swimming in water/butter, didn't look appetising. Online check-in facility before arrival did not work (link I was sent not valid). Heating/Aircon unit was very noisy.
