Beautiful, clean room; helpful and friendly staff; perfect location, close to everything. Highly recommend the Ibis for a central, affordable and lovely hotel to stay in. Would definitely return.

Disliked: None.

Mediocre experience

Liked: Seemed to be ideal for traveling around and been close to things. Parking was across the road in a multistory carpark . Iceland straight across the road for any snacks etcPlenty of shops just down from the hotel if you wanted to have a look.
Disliked: Found the staff lacking in customer service, check in was fine on the Friday, towels in room were tiny had to ask for more. Breakfast wasn't great sat morning, food looked like it had been there a while under heat lamps but it was 10.30 am ish when we arrived so maybe it was fresher earlier. Sat evening went to the bar for food, pizza was lovely, barmaid made an unnecessary issue about having chicken wings plain instead of tossed in sauce, she actually left me to go ask the chef was it ok to allow me have plain wings...loaded fries were loaded with dryness as no sauce at all despite supposed to be in a garlic sauce...also pizza came out a good 10 /15 mins before the wings and fries. A family member had rang and put credit on our account to have a drink at the bar and it was an issue getting the credit applied as it seemingly couldn't be found. Thankfully she had sent me a screenshot of the transaction or id probably still be waiting for the staff to find it. Then I was charged wrongly and wasn't aware till the staff member came over looking to charge me another 10 pounds as she realized then she made the mistake. Sunday morning found a hair in my beans and brought it to a staff member attention, when leaving the manager asked had we a problem with the food.(Don't think he realized how challenging his tone was)...then a female staff member tried telling me it wasn't a hair it was a skin on the bean. It was a hair. Actually checked out a day early and nobody even noticed...and I'm not surprised.
