Nice place, but needs upkeep.

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent. It's right in the middle of Waikiki Beach, just steps from the sand. The rooms are ok, and the Ocean View rooms have an excellent view.
Disliked: I was saddened that the property was not kept up. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the hallway, stains on the drapes, and the windows were old, which offered little noise filtering from the noisy strip. It doesn't get quiet until well after midnight, so that may be hard for some. The elevators are old and don't even work all the time. Once, I had to take the stairs from our room to the lobby, which was on one of the top floors. It did get repaired later in the day. Overall, the place just looks and feels run down.

Excellent stay!

I really enjoyed my stay

Liked: The room was comfortable and quiet at night when construction was going on, The bed was comfortable and I rested well. My Maid Service person was wonderful and made sure that I was comfortable. Please look up the name of the person who cleaned my room on the days of 3-6 to 3-10-25. I forgot her name but she was a very sweet person and hard worker.
Disliked: I didn't like not having an elevator to use to go to the 1st level with my luggage. I had 2 suitcases and in my opinion can be dangerous going down. My room was facing the city and every morning the construction across the street awakened me.

Location makes this place!

Liked: Lack of communication on room availability, meant we were booked a room for 4 people, with 1 queen bed! Staff didn't seem to care and not interested in helping. After 2 hours a lovely lady, helped organised a roll out bed free of charge, for which we were super grateful!
Disliked: Majority of customer service team at reception!

GREAT location on Waikii beach.

Liked: I opted for "City" view since our stay was short and we didn't intend to be in our room very much. City view isn't very exciting.
Disliked: Not much for the hustle and bustle. This is a very busy street and location. Good for those looking for that.
