Staff was friendly. Property disappointing...

Liked: The staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The first day we were there the air conditioning was out. We were upgraded to a balcony room. The first night was not comfortable due to the air conditioning not working. The second night was better but not satisfactory. This hotel room also had a moldy smell. Parking was $40 per night. We did get a discount due to the air conditioning issues. Just overall disappointing.

Disliked: unfortunately, the hotel did not have air conditioning for 10 hrs of my stay. The staff was trying so hard to accommodate the guests. This was an awful experience considering the temperature in Sarasota Florida was 90 degrees. The room was like 100 degrees. I had to move my room because the room was not working nor never to work when air conditioning came back on per engineers.

Disliked: Air conditioning was not working, so the room was very hot.No room service, so we ordered the dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. They put the food inthe paper box and gave us plastic fork.. We ate in the room as if it were the take out of cheap restaurants. Also, there was a construction going close to the swimmig pool, so the view was not beautiful.

Ok but will not return

Liked: Pool would have been great if we’d had time to use it. Bed was comfy.
Disliked: Hottub was dirty with plates and glasses next to it not collected. Booking.com confirmation stated local taxes were included in my price but at check out I was charged taxes in addition to the price I’d booked. When I queried it with reception the response was inadequate.Nowhere in easy walking distance to eat and the hotel restaurant didn’t have enough staff so there was a 1 hour wait for a mediocre menu.We stayed next door at the ritz for the next 2 days and the service was excellent - albeit significantly more expensive
