Overall , it was a clean hotel with friendly staff; lots of great vegan and vegetarian options in the market cafe that was attached to the hotel with good hours. Was disappointed there was no pool, but I would still give it a 4.5/5. Would definitely come back.

Liked: Hotel staff were super friendly. One restaurant and market on site - with the market opening early and closing late. Really nice for late nice snack and early coffee. Great location, near the Moda Centre, and train and a lot of other walking distance places.
Disliked: It's a busy spot; they have valet, and we noticed that at times it was difficult for our Uber to park in front, as the valet was super busy. One time we had to meet our Uber on the street on a different block as cars were lined up and you couldn’t get in, and it turns out their parking lot was full and the lot had to redirect guests to a different parking place - which if it wasn’t underground and/or locked I would probably be concerned as there were many cars that had smashed out windows on the street … a bit of a rough part.

Wonderful, safe urban hotel just...

Liked: We love the hotel lobby and rooms, it’s all very beautiful and comfortable and so nice to be so close to the moss center for events. The restaurant is also nice and all staff were extremely friendly both at the front desk and in the restaurant.Food in the restaurant with mediocre and lacking attention to detail despite the fact that it was obvious everyone was putting forth their best effort. New management and oversight is needed. And especially if you were charging $27 for a buffet, everything needs to be of the highest quality and foods at appropriate temperatures.Valets were friendly, and personable, but do need a bit more training on refinement of their profession… Handling luggage helping appropriately, especially for getting more gratuities. They also need to communicate more clearly about the ticket and how to retrieve cars. Again, they were very, very nice, just somewhat lacking in the finesse of what it means to be a true valet at a fine lodging establishment. I really enjoy Hyatt and think it has great potential.

Disliked: A daily $25 "destination fee" is added to the hotel rate. While the staff mentioned that it’s disclosed somewhere on the hotel website, neither I nor my colleagues were aware of it. If this fee is mandatory, why isn’t it included in the initial rate? Otherwise, the published fare is misleading.
