We enjoyed the fact that we could park near the hotel and walk to and from the venue. The lobby area of the hotel was very nice. The room, however, was disappointing. For $149+ one would not expect broken furniture i.e missing trim on TV console with nails sticking out; ripped fabric on platform of bed; low water pressure in bathroom, and the shower curtain needed to be replaced - worn, thin. Also, breakfast in the cafe was $42 for two people - eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee?

Liked: Walking distance to Comerica Theatre.
Disliked: Room in poor repair - needs to be updated.

Nice room; comfortable beds; quiet room; close to Chase Field and just perfect all around.

Disliked: Too pricey on the valet parking.

Liked: The room and the Sky Terrace were amazing. It was extremely convenient location for the conference I was attending.
Disliked: The cost of food and drinks were highly inflated in my opinion. For the cost of the room, a complimentary breakfast would have been nice. As this was a business trip, I was given a per diem for daily food allowance, however, even eating in the grab-n-go area, I still had to come out-of-pocket for food on this trip. Iwill say that any food ordered fresh was delicious and your staff is amazing. The pre-packaged sandwich and wrap I tried were soggy and not appetizing.

Disliked: There is not complimentary breakfast so that does not apply to us. The room was adequate but the AC did not cool under 74 degrees and kept shutting itself off. The water would not get hot. We called the front desk they sent a handyman up who finally got it to work and then said to us don't turn the water off take showers now because it probably won't get hot again. So our evening plans were changed to shower around the hot water available. No hot water in the morning after running for 20 minutes we gave up and checked out. The front desk; Maddy, indicated she would extend a discount for our trouble with the AC and hot water and she did not. We were charged full price AND an additional $40 or so to park the car. I will NEVER stay at this property again. We will be visiting the area often as our adult children moved there. We will find another hotel for us to frequent.

Could’ve been better but could’ve...

Liked: Convenient location. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodated my early check in request (after asking me to pay for it and me declining). Facility was clean. I was compensated for the water being turned off. Restaurant staff was also friendly.
Disliked: Onsite restaurant served bad food. I ordered Diet Coke and they served Diet Pepsi without telling me. Not the same at all. My burger was over cooked and the bottom bun was completely burnt. I ate less than half my meal. My water was turned off in the morning without notice so I couldn’t shower before heading to the airport or even wash the toothpaste out of my mouth. The phone didn’t work to contact the front desk.

Disliked: Gross spots on the bathroom roof from years of shower steam, phone didn’t work

Disliked: We initially booked a king room with a balcony and found out they all have a joining door with the room next door, which was very noisy. We ended up switching rooms on the 2nd night. It wasn't a problem, and they were happy to accommodate.
