Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is a Grade II listed hotel resided on the former grounds of King Henry VIII's Bridewell Palace that was built around 1515 as his short term residence. Disaster, waste of money

Disliked: 1) Restaurant food over priced for the size of the meal served2) Being woke up be a noise from people in room across 217, running up the corridor, laughing and shouting, banging around, having to get out of bed to ask them to be quiet, shocking behaviour, felt like I was staying in a pointins or cheap hotel. This was meant to be a special event prior my sons first day at his new job in London, completely ruined the stay.

Liked: Really good location, near a train line and tube station, comfy beds, big spacious bathroom and the staff were 10/10.

Excellent facility, horrible Chinese restaurant

Liked: Excellent property. Close to eateries, public transport, hop on hop off bus and Karen was amazing. Could not have asked for better accommodations & facilities. Bed was so comfortable and the complimentary sparkling water was a bonus. Only negative was the Chinese Restaurant- food poor quality / could taste the raw flour coating on the calamari and it was like chewing rubber. Overpriced and would not recommend at all.
