Easy alternative to staying in...

Liked: We decided to stay across the river from Manhattan because it was far less expensive and this hotel made it easy - it is right next to a train station and in 4 minutes we were able to switch to any of several different subway lines. It had a nice view of the city and was comfortable.
Disliked: The building was under renovation so there was a makeshift reception desk. It worked for us, but they seemed a little short staffed probably because they had limited room.

Liked: I loved every second of my stay. It was just what I needed.

Great hotel and convenient location!

Liked: The location of the hotel gives you a beautiful view of New York skyline. The location is right next to the PATH Train station and ferry station making it easy to commute to New York. The hotel was very clean and room service and housekeeping were very prompt whenever we requested something. They give you complimentary water each day you stay there. The hotel staff was good and professional.
Disliked: We did not have a microwave in our room although we requested one numerous of times before we stayed there.

Always check a hotel isn’t...

Liked: The view of Manhattan.
Disliked: They are under going renovation it was noisey, restrictions on where you could go. The restaurant wasn’t open. The staff looked miserable at checking in… probably from the renovation and they were operating from a small desk. I wouldn’t have stayed if I had been advised of the renovations. There was no discount offered on the price.

Disliked: The front desk wasn’t friendly and housekeeping don’t dusk . Even if theirs construction was going on if the hotel staff was more welcoming it be better . The bathroom filter is horrible who want to take a shower and see dusk coming out also the water was cold . The front desk clerk change our room without confirmation from the engineer and we got locked out of our room without confirmation. Meanwhile when we let the front desk know she just wasn’t helpful .
