Disliked: The property advertised two beds, one king and one queen bed. When we arrived I found only one bed, a king bed plus a sofa. I called the front desk and the manager said there were no available rooms with two beds. He also said the sofa bed is the other bed. I said the room should have been listed as a king and sofa bed not a king and a queen bed. He sent someone to set up the soda bed but did not lower the price for the inconvenience and not delivering what I paid for. My daughter and I were traveling together and she was in an audition and we would not have booked a room with one bed. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. I have been traveling and staying in hotels all my life. In my experience I have never had the experience where a sofa bed was not advertised as a sofa bed. If a room was advertised as a having two beds one was never a sofa bed. Booking.com apologized. They asked me to take photos, which I did and sent the photos to them. They said the property has had many problems and they asked for me to write a review so other guests knew about the problem. Booking.com sent me a good amount of money off my next booking for the issue.

Disliked: Dear Hyatt Regency Irvine Team,I hope this message finds you well. I recently made a reservation at your hotel via Booking.com for a high-floor room, specifically for the period from December 4th to December 12th. However, upon my arrival, I was assigned a room on the third floor, which is far below the high-floor room I had booked.I chose your hotel based on the expectation that I would receive a high-floor room, as indicated in the booking confirmation. I am disappointed that this request was not honored, and I would appreciate an explanation for this discrepancy.Could you kindly clarify why this occurred and let me know how this issue can be resolved?
