Hyatt Regency Birmingham, Birmingham

We stayed for one night as we attended the Take That concert, and I chose that hotel because it was very close to the Arena and easy to get to from the railway station.

Liked: We stayed for one night only. It was very nice, and close to the Utilita Arena. The room was large and the receptionist gave us a room with the canal view.
Disliked: The one thing that I did find irritating was the fact that we had to pay for breakfast. The hotel was not cheap in the first place.

We really liked the hotel

Liked: Our room was very nice, and all of the staff we interacted with were helpful, and polite.
Disliked: The cost of breakfast.

Pleasant

Liked: Very good location , staff very friendly
Disliked: Wasn’t that clean and room was worn , bath room had dripping tap and paint coming off the walls.

Stayed for a conference in...

Liked: Great location for visiting the ICC for a conference. Facilities were great and the rooms were large.
Disliked: N/A!

Liked: Breakfast was superb and the staff really attentive. Couldn’t fault it.
Disliked: There was absolutely nothing not to like

Fabulous every thing was perfect...

Liked: The decor & mix of old & new , beautiful reception area was very attractive.Room was clean & bright. Lift quick & large .View was ok.plenty of good large towelsBreakfast very good .The variety of food set out was very good & staff keen to help. The access bridge to the Concert room is n absolute bonus
Disliked: Not sure there was any more I needed.

Liked: Loved the breakfast, was still hot and it was tasty. The swimming pool was big and the sauna was hot and lovely. The room was high up and very comfortable. Staff was exceptional friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back and recommend.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of, parking was full and expensive in the hotel as its own by a private company and not the hotel. 3 hours was £10.00.

Disliked: Disappointed that ‘we can’t promise you a 3.00pm check-in’ (we arrived at 2.00pm). I believed that 3.00pm was the policy. Slightly underwhelmed by the reception we got on arrival.
