The entire hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved our view and the food. Had a wonderful time!

We loved staying here! It was very close to the Palmer Event Center. The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were luxurious. It is within walking distance to many of the best restaurants in downtown Austin. We will stay here again!

Terrible housekeeping and rats

Liked: The hotel itself was okay... however there were many issues with the housekeeping and letter asking for them not to clean rooms which I thought for a hotel like this was unacceptable
Disliked: Housekeeping did not clean properly, and many times we would come back, and glasses had nor been removed it wax lazy in my opinion and not what I would expect from the Hyatt regency. Also, there are rats outside where people eat, and when raised, all that was said is that the hotel is by a river. It is not acceptable to serve food knowing that rats are outside to people. At least give people a warning so they have the choice to either eat outside or not

Liked: It was clean and the room was comfortable. I loved being right by the lake. I was traveling on Vonlane the next morning g so it was convenient
Disliked: I was assessed a $25 destination fee that I didn’t see until checkout. When I asked about it I was handed a card that listed “discounts” it made me eligible for. This included a $15 hotel credit for food or drink. I felt deceived since I was not privy to this information until I asked. It also included a beverage at check in I never offered. When I took a shower the drain was clogged and water would not drain. They had to have known this before giving me that room
