Hyatt Place Uncasville / Casino Area, Uncasville

My bf and I needed to find a hotel to pick up a fundraiser overnight and we thought having a pool, continental breakfast and a late night menu covered all of our basis. Upon arrival the pool was closed for our entire stay. We asked what time the late night menu and bar was open till and they told us 12 am. Upon arrival back to the hotel they said they sold out of food and we were unable to grab food at the bar. Just left us no dinner so we grabbed a package of $3.75.

Liked: The hotel room and shower.
Disliked: Communication problem - solving breakfast pool and bar.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, and next time we go to Mohegan Sun we will definitely stay again.

Liked: Room was beautiful; shuttle to Mohegan Sun was right on time.
Disliked: Continental breakfast was OK but a bit disorganized.

They were very nice and welcoming. The hotel was beautiful and so was the room. No complaints here :)

Disliked: There was one staff member replenishing items at breakfast who was complaining about some sort of medical condition the whole time to another employee, loudly. I am sorry for her issue, but really, keep it to yourself while working. Guests don't want to hear that stuff.

Liked: Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Loved the location.
Disliked: The gym area needed some attention (one bike, one elliptical, and one treadmill were out of order).

Liked: We liked the environment and the workers there are excellent!
Disliked: This was my first not so good experience with this hotel. It’s been great so many time! . It wasn’t completely bad at all due to the environment, the workers, and the lovely breakfast… however, my partner and I as well as my family stayed at this hotel and due to this situation we’ve decided not to continue with Hyatt moving forward. Our blankets were not clean and smelled of urine and mold as well as some pillows. We told the issue and they just said it was the feathers in the blanket.. feathers aren’t yellow and dotted stains last time I checked. We also checked the other blankets in the rooms and they didn’t look the same at all. It was very upsetting this happened because we loved going to Hyatt….
