Hyatt Place Tempe/Phoenix/University, Tempe

Overall wonderful stay; the hotel staff was amazing and helpful. The hotel was beautiful with updated features and amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would stay in this hotel again and again.

Liked: Very nice and updated features; amazing amenities; rooftop restaurant and bar was beautiful.
Disliked: Toilet paper roll was broken; shower knob was loose.

Very good

Liked: Comfortable bed, could fit my whole family (we were 5), breakfast included (i had only selected hotels with breakfast included), rooftop pool and food at the restaurant on the rooftop
Disliked: I asked ahead if they could provide a crib or any kind of portable bed for my daughter, they responded "no" which surprised me. Then upon check-in they told me they actually had some.

Liked: Room is big, good views but next to the train.
Disliked: It is very expensive for what it offers. The hotel is fine, but you can find hotels like this for 100 bugs, so nothing justifyes the high price you pay for it.Breakfast is very basic, not a lot of offer.Lifts, they got 3, are incredibily slow, you have to wait a lot for them.Personal at night are quite nice, but young girls at day dont know how to solve problems (or dont want).

Liked: Location, facilities, rooms layout, lobby, rooftop bar and pool
Disliked: The bed was terribly uncomfortable — needs replacement since it dips deeply on the left hand side

Good choice to go to...

Liked: Good location to go to ASU and close enough to the airport. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast is... ok-ish, nothing to write home about (especially in terms of choices) but it's good and well prepared.
Disliked: I was disappointed about room cleaning. It was essentially only a change of towels. Bed not made, things not cleaned. Had only two cups in the room and by the third day i was stll stuck with the same two cups. Also no replenishments of amenities (e.g. coffee / thee). This was quite unacceptable for hotels this level.

Terrible

Liked: The rooftop and pool were great, and the location.
Disliked: The breakfast was very underwhelming, expected more especially for the price we paid. The food seemed old and there was not many choices. The view from the room was terrible . We walked in and couldn’t even walk side by side because of how small the entrance to the room was and couldn’t get the cart past the door. The sofa bed took up most of the room to the bed and it was definitely not worth the price. We ended up losing our money on the stay for the first night and ended our stay, we found a better hotel that had so much room and was cheaper for a much better and more comfortable stay. We will never book at Hyatt again
