Liked: It has the Santa Barbara vibe and style. It was clean and had a nice breakfast.
Disliked: All the hotel fees with the original price, to many.

Disliked: The quality of the rooms and the overall feel of the place are below what you think of when you call a place a "Hyatt."

Liked: Very clean, easy free parking, helpful staff, updated large room. Located right next to the 101 so easy to jump on and get anywhere. Close to anything we needed. Staff actually called me when I left my Kindle.
Disliked: Bed wasn’t great, just ok. For the price though, I expected a better bed.

Liked: I appreciated the Santa Barbara hotel for its cleanliness, which contributed significantly to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Disliked: However, I had an awful experience at the Santa Barbara Hotel during what was supposed to be a special night for my court marriage. The reception staff initially informed us that we could have a late checkout at 4 PM, but at 8 AM the next morning, they rudely called to say we had been given incorrect information. This completely ruined our plans and left us incredibly disappointed. To make matters worse, the general manager was extremely unhelpful when we tried to resolve the issue.They should ensure that all front desk staff are properly trained to provide accurate information, as misinformation can ruin guests' trips. I would not recommend staying here if you're looking for decent treatment
