Hyatt Place Roanoke - hotel was nice and clean; employees were friendly. I would stay again.

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The room was clean and comfortable, except the bedding was rough and scratchy. There was a language barrier with the cleaning staff so trying to relay what we needed in English was very difficult. The pool room heater was not working so the pool was too cold to swim. We chose this hotel so that our 8 year old would be able to swim. When we asked the staff when it would be fixed they said that they could not answer as they did not have a maintenance person on staff. We got the the hotel around 8pm and thought we would just order food from the "bar". We chose two things off the very limited menu and we were told that they did not have those items because they hadn't ordered any more yet. We ended up having to go get food at a local restaurant.
