Liked the vibe of the hotel. Good location I thought. Room was nice, breakfast was good and people working there were nice. Did not think paying for valet parking was called for and the issue with the elevators was not good.
Liked: Liked our room, breakfast, valet parking, although had to pay for valet which I don't approve of.
Disliked: Did not read the paper announcing elevators were going to be shut off at 10am. Had to haul my suitcases down the stairs which was really hard with my bad back.

If location to the venue is your prime concern (I was a single female walking alone), it's the best, however, if you're looking forward to any Hyatt Magic, this isn't it - go to the Regency (which is what I thought I had booked). I requested a bathtub, of which they have six. I ended up in an Accessibility room. The room was as far from the elevator as one could get. Once you got inside, it was "Industrial Depressing," at best. Big blank walls. One cliche piece of art in a rather cute corner that holds the foldout bed. There is no room service, which is what I like in a Hyatt. Weird menu in the bar (I'm vegetarian). Again, I was grateful for a room so close to the venue. I do want to say, however, that this is a review of an "accessible" room, and on that note, would like to address a couple of things. Having to hike a half a block to the room is not "accessible." The bathtub I wanted didn't look at all accessible. Turning to the view, the entire roof and HVAC equipment. I kind of think disabled people shouldn't have to overlook that mess. I considered, as I looked at it, that if someone has enough trouble accessing all sorts of natural spots we all take for granted, and putting the access room in a space that has a view, might be a really nice, Hyatt touch. That said, if I'm in Phoenix again, I'm definitely going with the Hyatt Regency, and drive to the venue. I was really disappointed in the digs.
Liked: It was close to the venue.
Disliked: I paid full price last March.

Within a 10-15 minute walk to our concert venue. We were told by our Uber driver that our hotel was new. Our hotel room was neat, clean and quiet. Everything was well organized. We used valet parking. So excellent. We had both dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the next day. Thank you for a very nice stay at your hotel.
Liked: Close proximity to our concert event.
Disliked: Nothing was bad.

The hotel, staff and location were good; bed was horrible.
Liked: People working there and checking us in were nice and helpful.
Disliked: The bed was absolutely horrible. I am a 48 year old woman and I had my 19 year old daughter, and our backs and bodies were killing us in the middle of the night. My daughter moved and slept on the little couch, while I continued to sleep in the bed. I could hardly stand up straight or move, after getting up. It was basically a whole night of sleep wasted.
