Uncomfortable

Liked: The device used to cast to the TV was broken, and no one knew how to fix it or get a replacement. The AC barely worked. When you called for service, it took so long that you had to go to the front desk yourself to get what you needed.The night staff—specifically the front desk guy with dreads—was very nice and helpful. However, the maintenance guy made me extremely uncomfortable. I honestly felt like if I had been alone, he might have tried something. He didn’t speak English, assumed I was alone, and even asked me why I was alone. I was asking to switch rooms because the devices were broken. I was told no rooms were available but seen others renting rooms.The location was beautiful, but I won’t be coming back. It wasn’t the vibe I wanted at all. After that encounter, I felt uneasy and was so grateful my spouse was with me. The guy didn’t know any English, so we communicated through a translation app. I became uncomfortable quickly, as the questions shifted from what I needed help with to more personal ones. He said he was going to get another box, but he took so long that I went downstairs—only to find him just hanging out and relaxing. Then he came again sat next to me on the couch and translated more uncomfortable things.Yeah, the place was beautiful, but **NEVER AGAIN
