Iffy start but got better.

Liked: Breakfast was like other hotels at this level. Edible, but not great. At least they had bacon!The room was comfortable.The best feature was the very hot hot tub!
Disliked: Like so many hotels these days, they use fragrant cleaning supplies, which trigger my allergies. I had to open the window and run the fan on high for a few hours to be able to breathe comfortably. PLEASE advise your hotels NOT to “perfume” the rooms. Many people are allergic or chemically sensitive. Had I not been able to open the window, I would have had to move to a different hotel.There was no elevator! And no “do not disturb” tag. It’s clearly an old building obviously somewhat modernized. Actually, it grew on me. Homey. Not sterile like most places.They need to replace the carpet on the stairs. It’s somewhat blackened from use.

Liked: The property was clean
Disliked: We arrived for breakfast at 8am. There were limited options in food. They were clearly understaffed. No utensils, plates, coffee and at times no food. There appeared to be only one employee that was working hard to keep up. Other employees did not seem to care and acted bothered by request for help.
