Horrible hotel, they overbooked and...

Liked: Runners be aware. We booked two rooms.When my chief crew tried to check in a bit later she was denied her room that was already paid for due to overbooking.I would not recommend this hotel. Luckily she stayed in my room with 3 others if our crew. But what would she have done if we did not have the other room. This is unacceptable
Disliked: The fact they overbooked our room and one of us did not have a room .Can you imagine crewing someone all day until 11 pm only to find out you have no where to rest. Unacceptable

Liked: The room was okay and the bed was good.
Disliked: The breakfast was really bad, everything was empty before it closed. The machines in the fitness center were really complicated, it took a long time to start using them. There was an ice machine outside our room which was really loud so we found it hard to sleep. The staff were not friendly at all and kept pointing at each other when we were trying to complain about something. We expected a swimming pool but it was not in use and there were no seats or anything outside. The safety box in our room did not work. We left this hotel three nights earlier than planned and we did not get a refund for these three nights.

Disliked: We brought our service dog and they charged me extra $84.00 for he's staying. Even seeing my government service dog IDENTIFICACION.

Liked: It was on the beach. The one girl working nights with the long hair was the only good thing about the hotel. She was friendly and sweet
Disliked: Wifi was so slow my phone wouldn't work. Walls had cracks in our room. Rust spots on the bathroom mirror. The bathroom door would rarely lock so it would always slide open. So we had to make sure family members weren't in the room when in the bathroom. The pool area was being reconstructed so all of that was closed so you can't walk directly from the back of the hotel to the beach. They advertised breakfast burrito building station and there was not. The restaurant was closed so couldn't get food. Couldn't enjoy the balcony cause it always smelt like weed. Sheets and sofa had stains. Just a bad experience and definitely overpriced for the condition of the hotel

No microwave?

Liked: Very clean, updated furniture, good location.
Disliked: There wasn't a microwave in the room.
