Unbelievably unprofessional, and this remains...
Liked: It was closeby to the event we travelled to Arlington, which is why we chose this site.
Disliked: Lack of communication among staff! The fact that they booked us into an out-of-service room for FULL PRICE instead of telling us they booked the room that we had reserved because of “first come first serve”. They could’ve atleast discounted it! No TV, an air conditioner that wasn’t working properly, a mini-fridge that didn’t work, a restroom door that didn’t lock, no hair dryer. It was unbelievable. Here’s what happened.It appears our room that I reserved online was sold even though I called ahead of time asking to confirm the booking AND to let them know we’d be here late. We were told not to arrive any later than 2am. I told the operator it should be closer to 11. The operator took the message and TYPED a messaged for the property to let them know I called and what I said so they don’t think we’re a no-show. And those were HER words. But apparently they still did. We arrived between 11:30pm and 12am. When the concierge was finally able to service us, it hit 12am. She claimed issues with the system and said it was probably due to the late check-in. Checked “if a room was vacant” and issued keys for it, then charged me $243.15. She had trouble doing all this as well. She had to call her manager to do so. We were unhappy with the room due to the issues below, but she said there were no other rooms to move us to, that they were fully booked for the night and that booking through 3rd party websites doesn’t guarantee rooms if they aren’t available and it’s “first come, first serve”. We appreciate that she put us in a room, but we didn’t know what were getting for that price. And it was definitely not what we reserved for on booking.com. My husband and I would like a full refund if possible. This room appeared out of service, but it was sold to us for the night.

Liked: breakfast was perfectly set up and offered great variety of options.
Disliked: front staff was in charge of checking people in, serving them food and spirits, as well as all front desk duties--ALONE.
