No communication from hotel staff...

Liked: I did not like that i booked a hotel with a pool amenity and i could not use the pool but only for 2 hours of my 24 hour stay. The whole purpose that i booked was for the pool. Check in time was at 3pm. Me and my family put on our swim suit and went to the pool around 4:30pm only to be turned around after paying for the hotel. We were told that the pool was closed for the hotel we booked for swimming lessons from 2pm-8pm and the pool closed at 10pm. My daughter was so upset because it was her 9th birthday and she was so excited to get into the pool. When i explained this to the hotel staff and swim instructor they told me to pick a different hotel with a pool. Keep in mind that the day i booked was December 23, 2024. It is the middle of winter and the hotel expected me to get a a pool that was in a different hotel that they are contracted with but my room was still at the Hyatt Place. It was freezing outside and i was not well accommodated. This ruined all of our plans. I asked to be contacted by a manager because they were out for the holidays and no one ever called me. When we did finally get in the pool the pool room and water was freezing and my daughter caught a cold the next day. This was the worst experience. Do not book here. Very unprofessional and poor communication with customers. No compensation at all was given. Waste of time and money especially for the holiday season.
