Clean and comfortable but don’t...

Liked: The location was great. In walking distance to so many restaurants/bars/shops. The beds were actually comfortable. The place was clean throughout, the guest bathrooms, the lobby, the rooms, etc.
Disliked: I specifically booked this hotel for the heated pool and bar. I do know it’s cold outside so it’s harder to maintain a good temperature but the pool wasn’t swimmable after 5pm which seems silly if they are open until 10pm. I also booked the hotel for the bar. I traveled with a friend and kids. By the time we got our kids to bed, I went downstairs to grab a drink and was told the bartender went home (2hrs early) because it wasn’t busy but I could buy a beer/canned seltzer. Did that because I wanted a drink and landed up spending $7 each on a $3 can. I feel like I paid extra money for amenities that weren’t even available.

Good city centre hotel.

Liked: Good breakfast choices. Very helpful staff. Heated outdoor pool and spa/hot-tub. Rooms a good size. Hotel was very clean.
Disliked: Price at $800 for 4 nights seems steep.

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located; we could walk to the convention center. Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was standard American hotel fair - eggs, sausage, toast.
Disliked: The mattress was not comfortable.
