Could be great if housekeeping...

Liked: Great location and amenities. Nice looking hotel and decor.
Disliked: Could have been cleaner. Soap scum in showers. Hand prints on bathroom glass doors. Hallways needed vacuuming. Elevator floor needed repair. It was cleanish.

Nice if little pricy place...

Liked: bed comfy, shower nice, nice looking hotel inside and out. Very convenient to ISU,
Disliked: parking on the other side of the street involved walking thru the snow and ice.

Disliked: Pool out of service. Was supposed to receive a refund and had to hound the hotel after. Several phone calls. Finally I had to dispute it with my bank.

Busted Pool- At Least Be...

Liked: Nice and clean. AMAZING location.
Disliked: We stayed at the Bloomington Normal, Illinois property last night for a quick getaway with the kids to go swimming. I called before making the reservation and again the day prior to confirm that the pool was open and functional. Both times it took 20 minutes to get through to someone but was assured both times the pool was great. We checked into our room and got down to the pool only to find out that the heater was broken. It’s 20° outside! A non-heated pool in the dead of winter is not what I’d describe as functional. Had we known this prior, we would have booked another hotel for our swim-staycation!

Disliked: We only booked a hotel so the kids could go swimming, after we arrived we found out the heater was out in the pool it was so freezing we couldn't get into the pool, I have a 7 year old autistic child and she was very upset. We had popcorn in the pul out couch and q tips and other items not ours in our bathroom, our fridge in our room didn't work either. Very upsetting. Was a little get away from home and the kids couldn't swim was only reason why we got a hotel room. Was not cleaned Staff was not nice and didn't care about anything.
