Hyatt Place Bethlehem-Downtown, Bethlehem

We were surprised to walk into a spacious, attractive room. The staff, especially at check in were incredibly nice and helpful. The town is nice with lots of shops and restaurants.

Liked: Clean room; super nice staff.

We had a nice experience there. The breakfast is good and there is small bar and sundries spot at the front desk. The staff was extremely pleasant. The hotel seemed very clean. Had to walk to downtown but that was very close. We would return.

Liked: Clean and friendly staff. Rooms are a nice size.
Disliked: Parking is across the street at the parking garage but hotel pays for it so that is nice.

I was VERY pleased with our room and the staff you employ. I can't think of anything to complain about! Apparently I have stayed in other hotels with lower standards, because I was blown away at how nice the accommodation was at your hotel! If ever I have a need to stay in the Bethlehem area again, I am definitely coming to your location!

Liked: The lobby and set up was a nice first impression
Disliked: The staff, although friendly, admitted that many times when asked for something (like a pillow delivered to room while out) that they can't because they are the only ones working and to check later. Also the beds were so uncomfortable that my husband had to try to sleep sitting up on the couch as he couldn't handle it. On our anniversary. I couldn't even sleep next to my husband. The shower was obnoxiously small and the tiny glass door let out water the entire time. We went down for breakfast excited as the set up looked like it would be a great display. The food was warm but bland and very basic. The condiments like mayo was with the cereal which makes no sense. I did not feel that the value was good at all. I will not be using Hyatt in the future for other stays. I will be going back to using the Hilton chain's.

Disliked: The hotel DID NOT have its own parking space!!! Guests of the hotel have to park at the garage across from the hotel and you are charged $12 per day for parking. The nerve to charge you for your inconvenience!
