Most amazing and accommodating staff. Very softly spoken and polite young women at the front desk. The room was amazing.

I had booked four different rooms at Hyatt and all were terrific, with no problems. Couldn't ask for better staff than at the Hyatt in Buckhead - just wish I could have stayed longer.

Liked: Staff was great; shuttle bus went above and beyond. Had 4 different rooms and they were all perfect. Breakfast was also terrific.

The decor is great but it has maintenance issues. The tub had three inches of water after my showers. The sixth level of the parking garage had no lights working. We heard lots of noise from the street during the night. The next morning I found the sliding window would not close completely. It had a 1/8 inch crack letting in noise and cold air.

Liked: Location. Walking distance to restaurants. Easy for Lyft driver to locate. Booking.com is difficult to work with. I didn't realize they make arrangements from another country. Next time I will contact hotel directly so I can get better service.
Disliked: (1) Desk person was not friendly. She would not look up and help us unless we interrupted her from her cell phone. I stood in front of her about 3 minutes and paced, while she was flipping channels on her phone. Finally I asked her if I was interrupting her from her work because I had a question for her. She said, "You should have said something." I think she should be alert to a customer standing in front of her at the desk. (2) She would not give me directions to the stairs when asked. (3) She should tell me when the staircase is available, and at what time it locks. (4) No way to heat hot water for tea. the coffee maker in the room is only for coffee, not tea. I had to ask the front desk person to heat my cup of water for tea. (5) No microwave in room.

The friendliness and helpfulness of...

Liked: We were in Atlanta to spend the weekend antiquing. As it turned out there was a winter storm which happened the night we arrived. The next day everything was closed-restaurants, shops, etc. since Atlanta rarely gets snow and ice they do not have street clearing equipment. We were stuck at the hotel for one whole day. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful that they made the day pleasant despite the fact that we could not go anywhere. Kudos to them.
Disliked: I have stayed in this Hyatt Place before. For the most part the place is well thought out. My biggest complaint is the tiny bathroom. It is hard to maneuvere in.
