Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown, Anchorage

Not relaxing.

Liked: We didn't eat breakfast. We liked the beds.
Disliked: The location sucked. There were lots of homeless people lurking around in the area. There were people fighting outside our window and people running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night yelling and screaming and playing loud music with no consideration for others. We woke up to the police being there because there was a fight in one of the rooms and they damaged the room. I only got about 3 hours of sleep if that. There was no safe in our room most hotels have safes in them at least the ones we have stayed at do. We will not be staying here again and we won't be recommending this hotel to our family or friends. Our stay was not a good one

Disliked: The pool area had hairballs all over the floor and some in the hot tub. Just a little offputting but otherwise it was nice.

Liked: Ron, the driver of the shuttle van, was so kind and thoughtful. He really went out of his way to see our shuttle needs were taken care of. When i rebooked another night, the front desk attendant was super kind and helpful.

Liked: Where the hotel is located is good. Very nice staff and the room nice and comfortable. If i traveled again I would book the place again.
Disliked: Theres nothing to write bad about this place.

Would not come back

Liked: The house keeper was friendly and helped us out. The beds were ok.
Disliked: Towels weren’t stocked while swimming twice. The price is way too high for what is offered. I live in alaska and was disappointed in this hotel. Both my young boys got a bad rash from the pool. Breakfast was not the best. Front office lady named Greta was extremely rude to my sister for asking about pool towels. Had only 1 towel in our room for 4 people. Room has barely anything in it. I stayed at many hotels and for the price of this it’s not even worth over $200 for 1 night.
