LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!

Liked: Went for VillageFest and this place is in the perfect location. Came back from the street fair and did some people watching from my 5th floor balcony. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. For example, when I needed help with my luggage it was the desk clerk that helped me both checking in and checking out.
Disliked: Didn't like having to drive around the block to get to the parking garage but was easy to find. The hotel is old and dated in some ways but clean. It is a little pricy for what you get but maybe just a Palm Springs thing.

Horrible experience

Liked: The hotel was trash, the rooms were dirty, we had to change rooms because the of the mold /mildew smellThere were stains on the towels and sheets, the room was dirty and the chairs and couch were dirty and gross

Terrible hotel but good location

Disliked: It was extremely dirty and even though they tried to clean it .. my whole room smelled like bleach. The have not renovated anything since 1985. Worst $550 for one night I’ve ever spent

Way below expectations!

Liked: Good location. Clean. Nice staff. Not expensive but still not a value. Generous size suites. Comfy beds.
Disliked: Hot water could be a lawsuit. TVs didn’t work. Squeaky closet doors. HVAC didnt work properly. Complete lacking character or charm. No bellman or carts at check in. Who would eat there it was so unattractive?

Disliked: My room never got cleaned or serviced during my stay and I ran out of toilet paper, as a result, along with an overflowing bathroom trash. Also, I never got reimbursed for the $300 incidental charges I never used that was held on my card in addition to the cost of the room stay, so now I have to deal with that.

Disliked: I have stayed at this Hotel twice before. My past experiences were good. This time there was an event going on the street, in front of the hotel and I was not aware of that prior to getting there. Therefore, I had some issues finding the alternate entrance to the hotel.I had requested a pool side reservation but I got housed on the sixth floor. With no real views. The balcony widow courtains were very wrinkled, the bath tub was dirty and the tub facet had a water leak that I couldn’t stop. Additionally, I don’t know if this was a smoking room, but upon entering the room I could smell the odor of cigarette smoke in the living room area.Those were minor things, but I believe are important.The bed was very comfortable. I will recommend and stay at this facility again, despite these minor deficiencies. May be the bar will also be open the next time.
