Liked: I absolutely loved the view from our living room. Rain or shine, overlooking the marina was wonderful. Our suite was a nice size and had far more amenities than I expected. I feel like housekeeping went above and beyond in that our paper towel holder had a bow crafted from one of the paper towels, our toilet paper roll had another creation on it, etc. I thought the days of towel animals, and such had gone by the wayside, so the little surprises really meant something. The real standout was the service we received at breakfast. Each morning we were greeted with an exuberant "Good Morning. Welcome to breakfast!" The staff could not have been more friendly and really helped to start my morning off right.
Disliked: The cost to park was exorbitant. The garage had plenty of empty parking spaces so it seemed like the folks who manage the parking garage really take advantage of the lack of parking outside of the garages.

Decent mid-range price point hotel...

Liked: The king studio was nice, a bit small, but with a great kitchenette with a dishwasher and good size mini fridge. Shower was great. Housekeeping was excellent and automatic. Location is great, 15-25 minute walk to major sites on the national mall. Staff was overall very kind.
Disliked: Valet didn’t have any luggage carts at check in so we had to make several trips to carry everything in after self parking. Breakfast was disappointing; coffee and water pitcher were empty each time we accessed.

Liked: The staff were very friendly. The room was nice and clean. The bartender and food was pretty good as well.
Disliked: The seating for breakfast was a little chaotic but manageable.

Liked: Location is great. Complimentary breakfast was better than most.
Disliked: Could’ve used more service at the breakfast. It was a high volume day and the few that were there were working exceptionally hard to keep items replenished.
