Excellent location close to Portland...

Liked: I really liked how close I was to Portland State University as I had a conference there. There's a streetcar stop right in front of the hotel and I was able to get to PSU along with the Hawthorne neighborhood in under 15 minutes. There's also a great breakfast as well and the gym is well stocked with machines and weights. As for the room it was pretty cozy and I liked how there was both a fridge and a microwave in the room. Lastly the staff is very professional and was very prompt in answering my questions and concerns. Overall a great stay.

Liked: The room was like a one bedroom apartment. It was nice. It has a kitchen that is capable of cooking almost anything. I used the valet service and they were very prompt at bringing my car to me.

Liked: Check-in at midnight was extremely nice, I was welcomed and taken care of beyond my expectations. I was exhausted from moving my home and ended up exactly where I wanted to be, in a nice room with a shower like a pressure washer.
Disliked: There's only parking in the public garage across the street at the Douglas which is unattended and not secure. The HOA's and corporations that ask their visitors to use the garage need to invest in parking garage security guards. That would give the hotels in the area that lack parking safer access for their guests. Hyatt House does have a secure garage with super nice valet parking for a fee.
