Hyatt House New York/Chelsea, New York City

Nice hotel with great views.

Liked: Great view! Location about 10 min from Madiaon Square Garden, so a lot of sights in walking distance. I really liked the breakfast.
Disliked: Price on Thanksgiving weekend was rather high but in comparison to other hotels really reasonable.

Great location, clean rooms!

Liked: The location was extremely convenient, being within walking distance to Union Sqaure, Bryant Park and Times Square. Rooms were clean and staff were lovely.
Disliked: Lower level rooms facing the street were extremely noisy which made it hard tosleep. We also attempted to visit The H Bar but it wasn’t open.

Perfect for us to stay...

Liked: Close to MSG. Free breakfast. Wonderful views. Staff was more than accommodating for a mix up in the type of room booked.
Disliked: The pillows were terrible!

Disliked: A little more variety on breakfast. Mushrooms, tomatoes and fresh fruit by itself not coated in syrupThe foldout bed sheets were not changed, we asked but said not allowed

Liked: Location is perfect. Staff is kind. Breakfast included.
Disliked: Some of the receptionists are not so kind. The reception area is small. The room was generally clean but there was a lot dust around the side tables of the bed.

Liked: Great location, great views, clean, friendly, accommodating for luggage around check in and out times

Staff and location just made...

Liked: Staff fantastic. Nothing too much bother. Breakfast better than I expected. Location/ position excellent.
Disliked: No comfortable lounge not even a bar ( should be but was never open! ) Not a very attractive or welcoming lobby( the staff made up for the latter). Therefore I think the hotel is overpriced given the lack of these above amenities.

It was a great stay,...

Liked: We liked the location and the upper floors had amazing views. The breakfast was excellent and the staff at the breakfast room was great. Having a refrigerator was nice for waters and food.
Disliked: We had the one king bedroom suite. Since there were 3 of us, one had to sleep on the pull out couch which was not comfortable at all. It needs to be replaced. There were also a few panels that were broken (around the TV and washer). Personally, we would have rather had storage than the washer/dryer.
