You get what you pay...
Liked: 1. Shuttle bus from airport to hotel was provided2. Free luggage check in because we were too early3. Allowed us to grab free coffee/tea in their breakfast room4. Very friendly staff5. Room was very comfortable and clean6. Free breakfast
Disliked: 1. People working in the breakfast room wasn’t on top of making sure that there were enough plates and bowls for the guests to use. They ran out of bowls and large plates so it was a challenge to eat hot oatmeal without a bowl.

Does not prioritise customer experience
Liked: One of the more conveniently located hotels at LAX with superficially high-spec rooms
Disliked: No attention to detail or customer service. For example, they provide an airport shuttle. I would expect guests to be invited to wait in the lobby and be told when the shuttle had arrived. Instead, you’re told to go outside (by the dumpsters; no seating) and just wait however long it takes for the next shuttle to get back from the always congested terminal loop road.

Excellent hotel service; weird entry...
Liked: Room size was good. Room seating was appreciated. Swiveling TV was excellent. Breakfast and room service food as good. Room rate was reasonable, considering it was so close to the airport. Shuttle service was prompt and regular.
Disliked: The hotel entrance is bizarre. By car, we could barely figure out entry. Only after double-parking (illegally??) and going inside did we learn we could use the garage for entry. If using such a non-conforming entry, you need to have better signage or inform guests better.

Liked: Location and shuttle
Disliked: The management of this hotel is chaotic and service is non-existent. Mistook my reservation with another guest with the same last name and I had to change room twice during a 1-night stay period :)When I checked in during afternoon the room wasn't ready, so front desk told me I could register as a member of Hyatt to upgrade into a different room, I did and was assigned a WINDOWLESS ROOM. Being confused, I called the front desk and told them the pics I saw on Booking had windows, not to mention that they promised me an “upgrade”. Then I was told they could change room for me. I accepted and decided to let go.But then at 10.30pm when I was lying in my bed, they called me and said Ive been given the wrong room and my room should be a suite at the Hyatt House side instead of Hyatt Place. I told him it’s fine i don’t want a better room, but was told (not very apologetically either) that I have to move. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WHEN I WAS FULLY UNPACKED. I don’t understand why guest have to pay for hotel’s mistake but I was too tired to argue with them because i have a flight in the morning :))))))
