Very impressed with this place. By far the best hotel I've stayed at in NY.

Liked: Very clean; updated; spacious; great service.

Liked: First time to new york couldn't have been better. This hotel was a very good deal and was in a very good location. Located about 15mins from times square and about 40mins from central park. Bus around the area was down the street.Points of interest were mostly within walking distance. Food options are plentiful as well with Korea town being right down the street. The area felt fairly safe, even walking around at night. There's plenty of coffee shops, gift shops and convenience stores around. The room was super nice and cozy. Pillows weren't the best, but we made it work. Amenities were available, as well as a hair dryer. Gym access was also an option in the hotel with a water fill station in there. RFID hotel entry for safety was nice. The rooftop view at night was very nice and there was even a little plastic igloo to hang out in.Overall, I would love to stay there again.Front desk staff was very nice and inviting!
Disliked: Our room was right next to the housekeeping closet, so we could hear every in and out while we were in our room at night. Nothing major, just a small inconvenience. Not that it was bad..we tuned it out, but if someone is a light sleeper, it might bug them. The pillows could have been a bit fluffier.

Great location and good value...

Liked: Great location and friendly staff. Got a good deal on the room so it was worth the price I paid and not too expensive for New York. The rooms were decently sized and well appointed.
Disliked: Only one elevator was working during our stay so you had to wait a while for it if you were leaving or coming back.

Arguably the best place to...

Liked: Fabulous staff, comfy bed/room, very nice breakfast. We were lucky enough to have a superb view of the Empire State Building from our room, but there is also a roof top from which you can have the absolute best view.

Pleasant

Liked: Location was perfect, close to subway and many midtown attractions were accessible on foot. Staff at the front desk and in the hotel bar were really nice and helpful. Views from the roof top were stunning.
Disliked: The rooms were quite tired and need renovation. We had a family room, but it felt cramped. The air con unit was quite noisy. One of the two lifts was out of order the whole trip and meant some times you had to wait a long time to take one.
