It's a hotel. Clean place to sleep; comfy bed; A/C worked; there are neat reading lights next to the bed and USB outlets to charge your stuff without an adapter; all non-smoking. Complimentary toiletries smelled like they were trying too hard to be 'modern'. Nice restaurants/shops within walking distance. Parking garage is slightly confusing/poorly marked, hotel parking is only on the uncovered 9th floor (you have to take a flight of stairs to get to the garage elevator, so check in first if you can) there is not a direct connection between the parking garage and hotel, and parking is not included in your room rate. Staff was not very helpful at check-in; I'll cut them some slack since we got in at 3AM but we were not made aware of checkout times or that the elevator requires use of your room key during the day. Breakfast in hotel restaurant seemed expensive but the tiny pecan waffles were lovely. Restaurant staff was also brusque. Hotel was farther from venue than this site led us to believe(14 min walk according to Google vs. 8 min according to site), but still only like a $6 Lyft.
Liked: Massive amounts of pillows.
Disliked: Parking is a nightmare. Staff seemed brusque.

Overpriced; pretty much forced to use valet parking; hotel guests had to park on 9th floor which was the top floor.
Liked: Nice bedding.
Disliked: Maid had a habit of leaving freebie items like body wash and hand cream half full instead of replacing with new between guests. For the money, they should be full, never used. If the maid skimps on the freebies, what else is she skimping on?!

Liked: Friendly hotel staff. Clean rooms. Updated. Convenient location.
Disliked: No vending machines and no food or drinks were available at the front desk to purchase.

Wonderful room with attention to detail. The valet staff was professional, friendly, and made us feel like a valued customer. It was nice to be welcomed back to the hotel every day. Thank you for the special treatment.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Midtown. Our room was beautiful and clean, everything you expect from the Hyatt brand. The staff was exceptional. If I have a complaint it would be that I booked a room with two queen beds, a month ahead of our stay - but they didn't have one available on arrival and gave us a room with a King instead. I guess this could be a problem in some situations, but I was travelling with family, so not a huge deal. The hotel was fantastic!
Liked: The hotel was beautiful. Staff was attentive and welcoming!
