Liked: The hotel was beautiful, The rooms were magnificent and the service that we received was exceptional. Overall the hotel was quiet and peaceful.

The hotel is great, if...

Liked: The hotel is after the renovation: rooms, lobby and halls are clean and beautiful. Beds are very comfy, bath is clean and has everything that you need. Very good location: close to Royal and Bourbon streets, but in a quiet area. The hotel is really pet-friendly.
Disliked: We booked a room with the included breakfast and it was a disaster. There are no real breakfasts in the hotel, you can order it in the restaurant on the first floor. On check in we got a special paper about included breakfasts, and the instructions that we had to show it when we came there. In the morning it turned out that no one knows what to do with that paper. As the result we paid for breakfast by ourselves, and the hotel didn’t include breakfasts to the final bill. What was the point? The service in the restaurant is very slow, it seems like they are out of staff. Refill for coffee? You can forget about it. Restaurant is the main disappointment during our stay.

Liked: Room was spacious and comfortable. Accessible bathroom was spacious and very usable. Staff were amazing. I particularly want to mention Eric the Bellman who went above and beyond for us.
Disliked: I am a wheelchair user and standing is not easy for me. The accessible bathroom was wonderful, except for one thing – if you need to use the shower seat, you have to stand up every time you need shampoo, conditioner, or soap, because they are locked into a bracket on the other side of the shower unit.

Disliked: Don t book the breakfast you will wait for 30mins plus they will charge you for it albeit the fact that it s included. When you ask for clarification they ghost you. We have waited for the valet service 20mins. The beds are old, it s noisy but location is great!
