Nice hotel in a good...

Liked: The hotel was bright and clean, in a good location.We had two rooms - a twin was palatial with a luxurious bathroom and city view, the double was much smaller and faced an internal courtyard. The double cost more! That may mean we were given a good deal with the twin. The bar area was spacious and the staff were helpful.
Disliked: We were overcharged, twice.Firstly, for the rooms (I had pre-paid but the check-in desk insisted not). They removed the duplicate charge when I went back to raise it again - but the systems of recording prepayment are clearly confusing for them. Then again, once we got home, we saw were charged twice for valet parking. It took a persistent phone call from the UK to persuade staff to remove the extra charge. No apology.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: Employees were super nice, the shower was EVERYTHING, and the rooms were much better and larger than the pictures made them look on booking.com. Easy to catch Lyfts, and the location and price were pretty darn good!
Disliked: We had to chase down a housekeeper for more towels and had to argue pretty hard with her to get the EMPTY communal shampoo bottle in the shower replaced. We also had to do it ourselves since she finally just handed us a new bottle. When we scheduled with the front desk to get a room freshening (we were there for 5 days), the housekeeper threw out or took our personal ziploc bags of evening supplements we had sitting on the endtable. There were no prescriptions....these were things like B vitamins, magnesium, probiotics, all together in 2 tiny zip lock bags that we take before going to bed. The front desk was very responsive when my husband let them know what happened, and comped us a night, which was greatly appreciated.
