A very good choice for...
Liked: The room was very nice with a reading chair and a desk and a desk chair as well as a separate toilet area. The coffee maker and motion detector lights are a big plus.
Disliked: The only drawback is the texture of the towels which are like medium versus fine sandpaper.

Perfect location, and great value...
Liked: 6 night stay I believe would merit more than a $10 voucher for breakfast. I did not like the color scheme of the room. Perfect location for all we wanted to do.Hotel staff at desk was very friendly. When room service was offered in the a.m. we asked for them to come back and they never did. We missed 3 room services during a 6 night stay, which was really ok, other than replenishment of bottled water.
Disliked: Room service to return later when we weren't ready to leave earlier in the a.m.I did not like the color scheme. It was dark and the cow print furniture was hideous.

Great location and staff, clean...
Liked: Close to Bryant Park/Grand Central Station. An AMAZING rooftop bar (restaurant) that was intimate, a kind staff (Roberto & Francesco) and had outdoor igloos with views of the Empire State Bldg. A total sleeper of a place-! We felt like we struck gold! The food and drinks were good, too.
Disliked: Kind of an odd entrance. Walking by we could see a hotel reception through the big windows - but didn’t see Hyatt/Hyatt Centric anywhere obvious. We passed it by thinking it was another hotel! Upon coming back by saw a 1’x1’ brass plaque on the wall we missed. It was previously an office bldg turned into a hotel, and at times we definitely felt it. Odd elevators; the hall spacing and the noise from outside. (We were 13th floor, too). The pocket door to the bath had to be guided all the way shut or it bounced open. The roller shades in the window were stuck. They didn’t let us know the room was ready as they said they would via text. Disappointing when you start an early day of travel. We checked with them at 3:45pm and found out it was ready. All that said - would I stay there again? For the rate we got, yes, because the bed was a good bed, it was a clean bathroom and room, the staff was very kind and location.
