Worst place we ever stayed...

Disliked: Disgusting and unclean place with blood on walls, mold in the bathroom, hair in bed. We were not giving the rooms we had paid for, and instead downgraded - according to the receptionist who were super unfriendly, she could not refund us, and did nothing to help us, except complain about her colleagues in the main office.

It promises more than it...

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious.
Disliked: The shower was dreadful. Old fashioned, very tired and the water was cold!! Reception staff gave information when asked but was not at all welcoming. Everything about it was depressing and run down.

Exceptional

Liked: The castle is truly magnificent surrounded by a park that gives a lot of peace and harmony. I must particularly praise the extreme professionalism and kindness of Mr. Daniel, always ready to give useful information to better plan your visit to this truly beautiful and interesting area!

Wonderful historic hotel

Liked: The castle itself was marvellous. Room was as if we went back in time, in a positive way. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: Bathroom should get some attention. WiFi not available in the room.

Superb

Definitely something one should experience

Liked: The castle itself was superb. We really enjoyed it. We have arrived quite late but still managed to walk it through and even more than once. Every inch was really something spectacular. Better experience yourself. We first got a smaller room but after easy going clarification with the staff, changed to a bigger one.The cafe and restaurant was as well nice. Still managed to have a cup of tea at night in one of the rooms with bookshelf. The bathroom is not the best, but our conclusion was that we weren't there for the most modern hotel experience.I recommend to walk around the castle. Next day, we managed to walk garden through and get some apples right from the trees :)Definitely recommend!
