A garden paradise with great...
Liked: Other reviews cite "well kept grounds" which is an understatement. The motel is run by gardeners! Tulips were up, and more flowers had just been planted. The place was a Greenscapes award winner. It is lush and beautiful. And there's the greatest little fountain that gushes out of rocks into a completely rock covered pond. The room was impeccably maintained, the furniture new and heavy, the pictures classy and the walls pristine. The carpet seemed new, too.
Disliked: Nothing. This place is a dream.

Clean, comfortable, exceptional value
Liked: We've stayed 3 or 4 times at Husker Inn, and always appreciate a clean, comfortable room. This one contained a king-sized bed, microwave, fridge, bathtub/shower, TV, and a recliner, which was very much appreciated. Exceptional value for the price. Landscaping outside is interesting and pretty.
Disliked: The only downside for us is that there's outside seating, where other guests congregate to smoke and talk (loudly), with every word heard in the rooms.
