Comfortable cabins in the woods....
Liked: The forest cabins at Hush Boutique were private, comfortable and spotless. The bathroom was bigger than expected. Excellent WIFI. The communal kitchen facility was amazing and we used it for two meals each day. Great way to meet fellow lodgers. The host was friendly and informative. We had a great visit to the Driving Creek Railway and Pottery Shop which were located across the roadway. A unique place to stay while exploring the Coromandel area.

Just what we wanted!
Liked: Ideal location. Felt out of the way, but close enough to town and perfect for mountain narrow gauge railway too. Hugh great host. Welcoming, helpful, friendly and informative. Thank you

Charming, unusual and good value
Liked: An unusual, but charming, accommodation. The Potters Studio, where we stayed during our second visit in 12 months, is small but comfortable. The host, Hugh, is very friendly and helpful
Disliked: A microwave In the room would have been useful.

Good
Liked: Beautiful rustic cabin in amongst the bush. The cabins were scattered along well lit walkways. There was a central kitchen area with wooden seats and a bbq outside. It was very quiet at the top part of town. Made sure i got a cabin with its own bathroom. I didn't fancy having to go out for ablutions. Super comfortable bed with lovely cotton sheets. Good assortment of teas.
Disliked: Because I was there a few days, it would have been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit and read from. The wooden furniture while looking great wasn't very comfortable to sit at or work from. Mosquito nets would also have kept the bugs out. Being in the bush means any lights bring in the bugs.
