Disliked: There was not a single cupboard or table in the room. We did not have access to balcony.

Was ok but wouldn't stay...

Liked: Shared bathroom: Toilet and shower were clean, soap not wiped off around wall by sink and mirror not wiped during our stay of 5 nights. Bed clothing was clean. Location was right across the road from the train station and big shopping centre. Good laundromat down the road. Area felt safe.
Disliked: Not really a hotel, check in downstairs at the bar, more like just rooms above a bar.First room we checked into was not clean,I cleaned it myself but It was horrible so said this to staff and they changed us to a cleaner room. Bed matresses and pillows were clean and comfortable enough, bed frame was squeaky, filthy,and falling apart. Carpet needs to go, and room needs to be seriously painted and bed frame and curtains need to be dumped. TV even though up high (we didn't use) covered in hand prints and clearly not wiped. Thick dust just behind the top of bed side lockers. The check in/ bar staff mentioned it is hard to find good cleaners, but the place ,including the hallway,needs to be gutted . Shower in male toilet dripping loud that we could hear in our room, music playing until loud in some bar on a Wednesday night until late. Doors bang even when you try to close them properly so people were banging doors. After I cleaned the second room (only thing that was clean was the bed clothing, I asked for a cloth and spray and wiped surfaces down), then the stay became tolerable. It did feel safe as there are 2 doors to scan in with card before you get to your room which also needs to be scanned into and has a manual lock also. I would say cheap and cheerful but it was just cheap and tolerable,we just slept there as we were out all day. I was tempted to book in somewhere else but we already paid, non refundable and we are travelling without jobs so didnt want to waste money.
