A gem of a hotel.

Liked: The welcome, all staff were lovely. it was cosy and warm, very clean too. The breakfasts were exceptional too. We will definitely be back.
Disliked: Just a minor niggle, it would have been nice to have water in the room, even if it was a jug and glasses for by the bed.

Beautifully presented in exceptional manicured...

Liked: The Breakfast was absolutely superb.. We’ve stayed at big name hotels & as I believe, the Hunters Moon used all local produce, it was incredibly flavoursome compared with the big group names. A real refreshing change.Hotel grounds are immaculate & perfectly manicured, hotel was welcoming & clean. Lovely staff (the main man who bought out the breakfast was particularly cheerful).Would definitely stay again if in the area
Disliked: The Bathroom toilet roll holder was quite flimsy & kept coming off & the extractor fan could do with a vacuum to remove the built up dust..

Liked: Staff and the owner were all very welcoming and helpful. Food was well prepared, of generous proportions and tasty too. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The ground are well kept and so is the rather splendidly gracious setting in which the hotel is situated, surprisingly close to the centre of town

A splendid hotel and staff...

Disliked: The meal service was concentrated into a small period of about an hour for all guests. The food was acceptable to good but the whole experience was a bit like being served at the end of a production line! It was all very efficient but the speed of activity around was enough to give one indigestion!! Which was a pity.
