With sumptuous furnishings and wonderful views out over the Lorton Valley Hundith Hill Hotel on the outskirts of Cockermouth. A short drive from Keswick the traditional rooms have luxury private bathrooms. The Hundith Hill Hotel is a grand country house surrounded by beautiful countryside and a large pleasant garden. Missing important touches

Liked: Nice building
Disliked: Upgraded to luxury room definitely wasn’t luxury , no accessible charging points, smallest possible very poor tv (intermittently stuck on channel) no biscuits, bath but no bubbles, window right next to floodlights and some sort of machine whirring away all night. Minimalist cooked breakfast no offer of sauces or even jam/marmalade for toast!Not once asked if everything ok.

Liked: Lovely location, hotel and grounds were wonderful. Excellent food with good choices: breakfasts, dinner in dining room and also bar food. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, would stay again

Liked: Beautiful location and lovely hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice too.
Disliked: Bed was ok, not as comfy as a premier inn beds. Would be nice to have the option of a super king size bed. A smart tv would have been good so we could access our Netflix/Disney accounts.
