Pleasant for a 1 night...

Liked: Friendly reception on arrival. Pleasant bar area. Room nice and clean. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast
Disliked: Wardrobe was tiny but more importantly there was no light shining on it. We had to use a torch to be able to see what we were doing when trying the hang up clothes. Radiator in bedroom was positioned so that at least half of it was only warming the desk/ drawer unit instead of the room. Heated towel rail in bathroom didn’t heat up and shower taps being outside of shower cubicle in main bathroom area was a bit quirky although it seemed to work ok !

Beautiful but showing its age

Liked: The overall feel of the Manor was superb.The staff are friendly approachable and very attentive
Disliked: It states everywhere that modernisation is taking place and this is very much needed. The front area was a building site, the carpets were very old and worn. Fixtures in the bathroom rusty and leaving marks everywhere. No toilet brush or hairdryer.
