Noisy, exhausting, foul-smelling, over-priced dive...

Liked: Beds were comfortable. TV reception was good. Desk space was adequate. Room was clean. Fridge was good, with freezer and not noisy during the night. Under cover parking.
Disliked: It's not really in the CBD, not close to anything except parks and you need to cross at lights 3 times to get to the park. If elderly this is not advisable. Kitchenette lacked bench space. Extra charge for pets was excessive when there are no pet facilities provided. Fan in bathroom is not separate from light so that when you turn on the light, the fan also switches on. No comfortable chairs to sit on during the day. Strange sewage smell in room at times during the night despite bathroom door being closed and toilet flushed immediately after use. No sound proofing. Cars starting and revving during the night from the property next door as well as street racing past the motel. Was led to believe before arriving that pets were included in the price for the room only to be contacted later during last day of stay that there would be extras charge of $300 for 5 night's stay. The room itself is at best a $70 per night room not the $155 a night that they charge, it does not measure up to modern standard of rooms offered at $100 + that do have sound proofing, space, ultra clean, fresh scented, relaxing well-appointed rooms with lovely views in quiet locations.
