solo stay in September
Liked: main areas were lovely and the breakfast was superb
Disliked: the toilet was actually in the bed room, no separate door. was OK for 1 or 2 nights but more than that would be odd...

A calm spot in a...
Liked: Sitting in the yard at breakfast was the best. Very calming very french. Good wifi and location train station. Good value for the money
Disliked: The coffee the second time we stayed was burnt, and the room we had the second time was much smaller than the first (double room both times) so it might be worth asking for a bigger room.

Superb
Liked: The place and the room are very intimate and romantic. Staff is friendly, gentle and efficient. At night silencs reigns.
Disliked: Watch out if you are given room number five. The roof is very low and you can hit your head.

Nice stay
Liked: Walking distance to station and several sights. Staff friendly. Clean enough. Breakfast ok. Outdoor terrace really nice.
Disliked: Rooms are a little run down but wasn’t expecting brand new room. Shelves/table in the room to place stuff and hooks in the bathroom would have been useful.

Pleasant
Liked: I liked the location, the street was quite beautiful and the atmosphere was quite old-fashioned in an atmospheric way.
Disliked: The person in the next room was screaming on the phone late at night and I could hear everything through the wall. I tried to call reception to complain but they were rude and refused to help.

Excellent location for short stay...
Liked: The staff were very friendly, the location is excellent - only around 15 minutes' walk to the port (trams nearby too) _ and the neighbourhood great. The breakfast and the little garden to eat it in were perfect. The decor is very attractive and typically french, quite unique I would say. The staff were very helpful, we could leave our bags on the day we went out.
Disliked: For those with limited mobility it is probably as well to check which floor you may be on as there is no lift and the fourth floor (where our room was) has many steps! The room we had was certainly adequate and clean but quite small.
