Location was perfect for the Patriotic Festival. Able to hear the concert from the top of the hotel was nice since this year, the weather was not perfect.

Liked: Staff was nice and helpful; rooms were clean.

As an African American I felt really bad and disappointed when I arrived one hour early and was told by Rosemary that I had to wait for my room key. But about five white families came behind me and received their keys immediately. So I asked why I couldn't get my room key like the white families. Only then did I receive my room key with no explanation why I had to wait and the others didn't. My room had already been cleaned. It's a shame a black family who paid the same money for a room was made to feel so bad about staying there. The pain, anguish, and disappointment leaves a bitter taste in my mouth and on my heart. I will never stay there again because of the prejudice and ignorance of the staff!

Disappointing

Disliked: It's was filthy sand covered the floor (I never went to the beach), walls and doors were filthy. The headboard of the bed was blackened with dirt. They had no ice. Housekeeping only visited once during my stay. The room next door by adjoining door had a woman who od'd on 3 occasions then a prostitute who "worked " all night!!! I would never stay here again!!!

Disliked: room had no ac and they wouldnt move rooms or get ac repaired until next day. had to attempt to sleep in a 90 degree room with no windows to open. room had no coffee maker or remote as well as shower supplies. hotel staff stated manager was out for over a week.. refused partial refund. offered a reduced rate if i returned. rooms were outdated and old. linens were stained and rooms were not very clean.

Disappointed and distraught

Liked: We didn't get a room and didn't get to stay but did have to pay $75 for it.
Disliked: We got in super late, with a reservation, and was told that they were overbooked and didn't have a room for us. So we had to search dor a room at one in the morning, in an unknown city. Then, they wouldn't honor our cancelation because the next day they could accommodate us .. after we had already had to find a room and were pretty much stranded at one in the morning. The staff was not apologetic or sympathetic to the situation, the continued to watch their Facebook video at an incredible volume. The "lobby" was a separate, small booth from the hotel.

Great weekend, great place, love...

Liked: After reading reviews, I was skeptical. The place was very nice. Bed was gear, room very clean, modern. LG TV,, had simple breakfast, but perfect, price was great. Easy parking, across street from Boardwalk. Great restaurants nearby. Had a great time. Motel staff very kind. I would stay again.
Disliked: I had no issues. We wanted a bargain motel, knew we would be at a wrestling tourney most of the time, and this turned out great. We do not eat a big breakfast, so pastry, yogurt, good juices and coffee was perfect. I really had no issues.
