Howard Johnson by Wyndham Roseburg, Roseburg

We stayed one night and enjoyed the comfy bed and good parking. You're close to your room no matter what. The room was very clean and it was nice to have a mini fridge with a freezer.

Liked: Great staff; great spacious rooms; fridge and freezer.
Disliked: Not the best continental breakfast.

Liked: The room had a broken door that didn’t lock properly and also had a bad odor. It had a bad cat urine like odor.

Liked: the price, but it didn't feel like a Howard Johnson at all. I have a reservation for a longer stay in August but strongly considering changing it.
Disliked: On the booking website it says breakfast is served, but whenever we were there the office was locked/closed. To check in we had to call them and wait for someone to come to the desk at 8:30pm The office didn't even open until 10 am so i didn't even receive a receipt for my stay. The pictures posted on the booking site did not match the layout of our room, the wall art did, but they layout was different.

Liked: The room had a microwave and refrigerator.
Disliked: Noise! It's on a busy road, and both nights were also interrupted by loud guests arguing outside my room. The heat didn't work, and the bathroom sink didn't drain. The toilet lid was cracked, and towels were stained. Contrary to their web page, pets are NOT allowed. I had to scramble to find last-minute pet sitting before my trip.

Wonderful!

Liked: I was having a family emergency. The entire staff was very accommodating and kind!
Disliked: The part of town wasn't great.

Disliked: I paid for and reserved a room with a hot tub. When I got there I was told there was no room available with a hot tub yet I didn't get a reduced fee for getting in a lower charging room that had nothing

Liked: Reasonable price
Disliked: People showed up at 11:30 pm & were put in the room next to me which woke me up & then an unfortunate situation happened 3 rooms where a ambulance needed to be called at 5:30 am.
