Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. Would not hesitate staying there again.

Scary and feels unsafe

Liked: The bed was clean. Towels were clean. There was complimentary shampoo. Most of the outlets to plug in a phone charger worked.
Disliked: The property is very run down and feels unsafe. The exterior door to enter the building has a card swipe that doesn't work and the door is not locked- allowing entry from anyone off the street. You enter into a foyer that is completely dark- none of the lights are working. The only thing that is illuminated is a soda machine- akin to a night light. The hall to our room was dark in the first half, then finally a light by our door. There were other trivial things like no coffee in the morning in the lobby and the tub function did not work ( we had selected a room with a tub)- which makes bathing a kid harder. Overall the biggest concern was safety. I would not stay here again and would warn a solo female traveler to avoid it.

Disliked: All exterior doors were not locked, providing no security. Front desk stated a smokeless property, but the stairways and hallways smelled like smoke. Areas of the hall had no lighting and was very dark. The style was more of a motel style than a hotel. Although you enter the room from the inside, it was a long two story belt thing. Each room had a balcony, but the slider doors did not have much security to them. We scheduled a second floor room and they tried to put us on the first floor. When I requested a second floor, they put us in a room adjacent to another couple who made a lot of noise all night . For a mother daughter trip, we were very uneasy. The bathroom light sometimes didn’t work and if it did, it flickered before it came on. Probably the worst part was that we had no heat. When we turned on the system, it blew cold air only. There were no phones in the rooms to call the front desk for more blankets And even if there were nobody was at the front desk. Needless to say, we woke up, tired and sore from quivering all night from being cold.

Liked: The location was great!

Reasonable, safe and quiet.

Liked: The room was clean and quiet and nice refreshments had been made as this is an older hotel. We liked the nostalgia of it!
Disliked: Our sink in our room did not drain. We were only there for a short while (1 night stay with an early checkout) so we did not ask to switch rooms. The front desk folks we spoke to were responsive so hoping they had it looked at after we left!

Run down and disgusting.

Liked: Staff was friendly.....it ends there.
Disliked: Lights didn't work.Missing smoke detectors from bases.Mirrors so dirty they wouldn't clean. Towel hooks ripped out of the walls.GFCI outlets would not trip.Switch covers so dirty I didn't want to touch them.Phone was plugged in but didn't work. Had to use my cell to call the front desk.Different mirror broken.Mold and rusted metal in the shower.Improper outlets covers.Sliding patio doors were damaged and could open properly. Shredded curtains at sliders.Gouged up doors.The refrigerator was rusty, mold, and the seals were completely torn.Water damage at the bottom 6 inches of several areas of walls NOT in the bathroom or near water sources.Lifting and torn rugs.Damaged walls in the bathroom and sleeping area.The hallway rugs were severely stained and the hallways smelled musty and gross.I can send you photos of most of these items. I will not stay here again.Room 135My daughter and friend stayed in room 133 and thought it was run down and smelled.
